W&TW Fundraiser Show
This is the piece I have in the W&TW fundraiser that opens tonight. This is a once a year event that
raises money for the amazing Woman and Their Work Gallery here in Austin. The show is titled
“Red Hot, Red Dot” with all the artwork priced at $500 or below so there are always some amazing buys.
If you are in town, try and make it out for a good cause. Here is the info. If you can’t make it to the
gallery tonight, the show runs through September 29th if you are interested in seeing the show.
There is always a stellar group of artists involved.
Killer Hike
We hiked the Na Pali Coast in Kauai yesterday. It was a 4 mile hike to the Hanakapi’ai Beach which we ended up only to have to share with about
a dozen other people. The white sand beach, turquoise water and giant waves provided a perfect backdrop to wile away a couple of hours. It
was truly one of the most beautiful places I have been.
Waipio Valley, Hawaii (4 views)
The Big Island’s tallest waterfall, Hiilawe Falls cascades down 1,300 feet in the back of Waipio.
Waipio Valley is a mile wide at the coast and almost six miles deep.
On either side of the valley are cliffs reaching almost 2000 feet in elevation
And, of course, the trees. I hope you’ve enjoyed the four views from todays visit to Waipio Valley on the northern Hamakua Coast of the Big Island.
